I have 27+ years experience working as a programmer using numerous software tools ranging the full spectrum from requirements gathering, writing technical documents, designing data storage, creating databases and code, creating reports, to creating secure web applications.
I am now transforming my career from programming into accounting. I am taking my favorite aspects programming: love of data, organizing it, attention to detail, writing reports, creating data sets, quality control and applying this knowledge to accounting. In 2023 I have spent time learning QuickBooks online and how it can help businesses keep their books more efficiently. I have a ProAdvisor certification from QuickBooks and currently working with small local businesses to create a story to help focus on what is working and what isn’t.
